[Men's Golf] Improvement Continues For Maple Leaf Golf At Spring Arbor Invite

JACKSON, Mich. - All five players posted a new career low in one of the two rounds and the Goshen College men's golf team improved its team score for the second and third time of the season as they finished 11th at the Spring Arbor University Bill Bockwitz Intercollegiate this weekend.

Sophomore Ben Pollitt had the best showing, including a career low 76 in round one.? He helped the Maple Leafs post a 333 on day one, while the four scored positions all carded 83 or lower on day two for a 324.

Freshman Brian Charles and junior Hayden Goerzen each posted career lows of 80 on day two, while Alejandro Genis started the tournament with an 81.

Goshen will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday as they compete in the Battle at Blackthorn in South Bend.
